Children - This church is about KIDS! There is always something going on with the Children's Ministry. We offer programming for children from birth to 5th grade.  You can check out our Children's Ministry website here. We are always looking for volunteers so if you like kids, then we have a spot for YOU!!

Youth - This spirited group of teens gather for fellowship, fun, food, music and all kinds of good stuff.  Both Middle School and High School meet together on Wednesday evenings.  There is an optional dinner at 5:30 PM and the program starts at 6:15 PM.  We have a great variety of trips and retreats each year, and the program is open to youth of all different backgrounds and denominations.

Music - No matter what age you are, there is a place for you to enjoy the music ministry of FUMC. The Chancel choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM (EST).  The Praise team and the handbell choir practice on Tuesday evenings.

Missions - At FUMC, we value God's blessing in our lives and strive to support many important mission projects, just some of which include:
Noah's Ark in Panama City, FL

Annual Baby Shower for Children & Family Services

Inner City Mission in Mobile, AL

Mission Aviation Fellowship

Society of St. Andrew

United Methodist Children's Home in AL

Vashti School in GA

Andean Rural Health Care

United Methodist Volunteers in Mission

Sumbe United Methodist Church-Cameroon, Africa

United Methodist Women - The UMW gathers together to enjoy fellowship, grow closer to God and particpate in a variety of outreach programs from local community projects to worldwide missions.  Our UMW has four active mission groups, which include all age groups and convenient meeting times.

United Methodist Men - This friendly group of men of all ages meets on the first Sunday of each month for a hearty southern-style breakfast at 8 AM in the Fellowship Hall.  While best known for their tasty BBQ Chicken fundraisers, UMM supports many important community projects.

Shepherding Program - This ministry supports our members who are not able to get to church due to various reasons.  You can adopt one of our special members for a month or two at a time and support them with visits, phone calls, and mail.  For more information, contact Trina and Hubert Richards.

Care Closet - The Care Closet mission project was started 10 years ago by the Bernard Pridgeon Sunday School Class as an outreach program to our community when the Paper Mill was closed down.  The mission, then and now, is to provide good, clean, used clothing at very reasonable prices, 50 cents or less, or at no cost at all to the needy people of our community.  The Care Closet is staffed by volunteers from our church.  This amazing ministry to the community is always looking for clothing donations and for volunteers! The Care Closet is open Fridays 9 AM - 3 PM (EST)  and Saturdays 9 AM - 12 PM (EST).

Sunday School - Christian Education is important to us and we strive to provide Sunday School classes to fit everyone.  We would love to have you join us! Sunday school takes place each Sunday from 10 AM to 10:50 AM (EST).

Agape Travelers - This spirited bunch of seniors takes an adventure about once every other month.  Previous adventures have taken them to MacClay Gardens, Havanna, FL, and the Pioneer Village in Blountstown, FL.  Keep your ears open for more information on these exciting trips!
